Rows gluing

The “Rows gluing” tool allows you to take any amount of data from an array and paste it into a large variable, making it possible to transfer a variable to any field.

In the tool, you select the separator symbol between the lines, that is, between each item of the product or, in the case of expenses, between companies. You also create a format for each of these lines, replacing the necessary variables with the text.

As a result, this will all become a variable, which will be placed in large text in a field.

You can use this feature to:

transfer order from WooCommerce to CRM Trello. The entire order composition can be pasted and transferred to a field, eg a comment;

transfer costs from advertising accounts to email, bundling all parameters into a variable. It will now be possible to transmit it in plain text;

transfer transaction goods from one CRM to another that does not work with goods. Or if you don't want to use the goods function in your CRM system, but you need to put all the composition in one field.

These are just some of the possible uses. The tool fits into any website or CRM system that works with merchandise and can be applied to different contexts.

See a walkthrough of functionality applied to an automation set up to send a WooCommerce order to Telegram along with cart items.

Step 1. Adding the tool

In your automation, before the desired step, press “+” and select the item “Tool”.

Select the “Rows gluing” tool from the list.

Step 2. Configuring the tool

Define a name for your variable, in which the rows will be pasted.

Select the desired paste range — paste all rows or just the first and last, removing everything in between.

In the “Delimiter” field, specify any symbol you prefer to separate the different rows. You can put a space or press Enter to break the line.

In this example, first there will be a line break, then a dash, and another line break.

In the “Format” field, write the text format you need, replacing the appropriate variables. Don't forget the spaces and line breaks.

Filling example:

After configuring all the fields, click on “Save”.

Step 3. Updating the target service

After configuring the tool, open the target service settings.

In the list, in addition to WooCommerce data, it will be possible to select parameters of the tool. To do this, specify the name of the variable that you defined in the settings of the tool itself.

Now, it remains to form the text to be sent to Telegram together with the text of the request. Filling example:

After finishing, click on “Save”.

Ready! Now you can start and test the automation.

You will receive Telegram message:

You can also use the tool with other systems with the line structure and transfer them to any available fields. Most importantly, the field has no character limit. The configuration of the step itself will be identical.
