Phone number formatting

Step 1. Adding the tool

Find the tool in the "Automations" section and add it between the steps.

Step 2. Configuring the tool

In the second step, you will need to fill in the “Original phone number” and “Phone number mask” fields.

First, select the original phone number from the drop-down list of the sending system. In the example, we used the Google Ads ad channel lead phone number.

Then convert the number using a mask. Select the format you need from the list:

If you do not enter the country code, the phone number will be transmitted without a code. If none of the masks work the way you need, you can create your own configuration like this example: ({{ ########## }}). In this case, the number of hashtags is the number of phone numbers.

If you enter the country code, all # symbols will be replaced by the phone number digits with the desired code according to the selected mask.

Step 3. Updating the target service

After defining the “Phone number formatting” step, add the resulting phone number to the target service. In our example, we use Bitrix24 CRM.

Go to step settings.

Find the required field and put Albato's parameter “Formatted number” in it.

Ready! Now all the numbers will be unified, and the tool can be added to any automation where it is necessary to bring the phone numbers into the same form.
