Important Concepts

Application: an application which provides services on the Internet.

Apps: a section where you can find info about the apps connected to your Albato account.

Category: apps classification according to their function.

Access key: credential used to connect your Albato account to your account in another app.

Connection: an integration between Albato and your account in another app. It allows you to transfer data and perform necessary actions.

Automation: an integration scenario between your apps connected to Albato. Each automation has a trigger (event) and one or more actions.

Template: automation template with pre-defined apps and actions.

Steps: what each automation scenario consists of. In other words, this is the sequence of the scenario. Steps can be: trigger, actions, Albato tools.

Trigger: an event that happens in a sending app and starts an automation, so this is the first step of any scenario. Triggers can be linked to a specific real-time event in the selected app. Triggers have two data transferring modes: API and Webhook.

API: an application programming interface. It is a data transferring mode of an Albato automation when data is transferred within 5 minutes.

Webhook: a data transferring mode of an Albato automation when data is transferred immediately.

Action: what an automation scenario performs automatically when a trigger occurs.

Filter: lets you set conditions in the first step of an automation scenario to filter out unnecessary data.

Group: users can group their automation scenarios according to their own personal needs.

Status: shows the current status of an automation (started, paused, deleted, etc.)

Operation: a successfully completed step in an automation scenario. Some examples: receiving a lead, passing it to a spreadsheet, sending a new message.
