Connecting email via SMTP and IMAP

When automating tasks through Albato can both initiate the sending of emails, with a pre-formed message, and receive data from incoming emails.

Configuring the connection

Before you can create mappings with the functionality described, you will need to connect your email to Albato. To do this, click on "Add connection":
In the form that opens, select "Email":

Fill in the fields of the connection. It is necessary to specify the mailbox address and the password from it.
The values for the fields with system settings depend on the email provider used.

If you have mail @gmail.com, you should make the following settings:
SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP port: 587
IMAP server: imap.gmail.com
IMAP port: 993
Connection security: TLS
Login: your Gmail username in full, including @gmail.com
Password: your password for your Gmail account

After creating the connection, you can create automations using email.
